Bench press

Primary Muscles Worked: Pectoralis Major, Sternal

This is a classic exercise to build upper body strength. It gives you the ability to choose the weight that is right for you, but make sure to try and challenge yourself! Don’t forget a spotter when performing this exercise, especially when using a high level of weight.

Bench Press 2

1. Lie on the bench with upper body and head supported by the bench.

2. Grip the bar firmly with hands outside shoulder width and keep the wrists straight.

3. Barbell should be level with the chest.

4. Extend the arms without locking out and return the bar to mid-chest level without resting on the chest.
