Supine hip abduction

Primary Muscles Worked: Gluteus Medius (Butt Muscles)

This exercise is designed to tone those tough-to-reach butt muscles. It is performed in a supine position with your hands on the floor for support. Always make sure to stretch before doing this exercise!

Supine Straight Leg Hip Abduction 21.Begin lying with your back on a mat, legs in the air at a 90 degree angle, and hands on the floor or under your glutes for support.

Supine Straight Leg Hip Abduction 32.Slide your leg out to the side until you feel a stretch in your hip adductors.
Supine Straight Leg Hip Abduction 43. Return to starting position and repeat.
