Guess What? The deadline has begun, it is almost summertime! You know what that means, it means it is time to get that beach body moving and get those washboard abs popping out! I will give you a few tricks, 6 of them in fact, that will help you get those Shredded abs out in the open. So keep on reading and you should be surprised that these tricks work.

Surprising tricks for shredded abs

1. Vacuum those abs!

You probably think I have lost my mind, but one trick that I have used and some bodybuilders and physique competitors use is called a vacuum abs workout. It is easy and Free! You can do it sitting at work even. The Vacuum workout works like this: Sit up straight or stand up straight, Suck in your belly as far as you can and hold it there for 15-30 seconds a rep then push your belly out for 15 seconds out. To start start off with 5 sets of 10 reps. The Reason this works is because as you suck in you are using your ab muscles by flexing them in and then flexing them out just like flexing your bicep and holding it, then releasing it.

2.  HEAT!!

No, not dress in lots of close or go into the sauna. But raise your body temperature with Hot Spicy Chili Peppers. Every one is looking for that one fat burner to help them to burn off that layer of fat on their abs when they have one right in their kitchen. Chili peppers and most peppers have a compound in them called Capsaicin. It is what gives the peppers their hot bite. This compound also acts like a Natural thermogenic that makes your body temperature spike to help burn off that fat.

3. Garcinia cambogia

I know everyone has heard about Garcinia Cambogia. But does everyone know why it works? Garcinia Cambogia is High on HCA(Hydroxycitric Acid) a relative of Citric Acid. HCA works to suppress the synthesis or production of fatty acids. It also works as an appetite and hunger suppressant. Garcinia Cambogia has been reported in several clinical trials that it has reduced abdominal fat accumulation.

4. Wrap it up!!

I know, I know it is a new fad to wrap up to lose weight. But what I am talking about does not include any special lotion or anything like that. Just take a a hot shower, then take a roll of saran wrap and wrap it around your midsection to maintain the heat from your hot shower and then wrap it on top of that with Ace bandages to further induce more heat. This generates a cored impact on your midsection by compressing the area, heating the abs from the outside and then maintaining heat on the inside. Basically your own homemade Cheap Compression sauna.

5. Short rest periods in between ab workouts

Everyone does it all the time and don’t realize that this can make it take longer to reach your goal of a shredded set of abs. They take too long of a rest in between sets. When you are doing your crunches, situps, or any ab workout, the key to a successful ab workout is short breaks. when you finish a set of 25, shorten your rest period from 1-3 minutes to 30 seconds. Why! you say because if you let those abdominal muscle cool down too long and then jump right back in to your work out it can risk stomach cramps and it can lower the amount of abdominal heat already generated to melt away the fat shielding that washboard under there.

6. Atlas stones!!!

One of my biggest hobbies is training and competing as a Strongman Competitor, so working with atlas stones is one of the biggest things I love to do. The form and process to pick up and lift an atlas stone no matter what weight or size uses a ton of Core strength. The stronger your core, the harder and bigger your abs are. Your abs are part of your core that is used as a base or platform for your atlas Stone lift. So, in turn every lift flexes your abdominal muscles to control and pick up the stone. Start off light or Small first with say a big medicine ball or a crossfit Slammer ball(wall ball) – they are light, but can give you the start of your form to get heavier .
