This workout is created by Keith Chittenden who is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with Distinction and a Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator with Distinction from the NSCA; a Golf Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a NASM Master Trainer.

This program is designed to help an exercise novice with a basic gym workout using gym equipment that is found at most public gyms.

A gym can be an intimidating place to many who are new to it, and that concern can be enough to stop many making the first step to joining. Keith has devised this Plan to help build knowledge and confidence.

Follow these tips:

1- Make sure you eat some fruit or snack 45 minutes prior to working out.

2- Bring water with you.

3- Make sure you do a warm up before starting your program.

4- Start with a weight that is light enough to complete all reps.

This is the beginning; therefore the goal is to increase muscular endurance: rule of thumb for sets and reps = 3 sets of 10 reps each.

Rest approx. 20-30 seconds between sets.
