Success is at the forefront of your mind…
Success is one of those concepts that we all understand and yet, in reality, it means something different to each individual. Ultimately success is all in the mind. Your mind is your most powerful tool and your success in life depends on focusing this power.
I believe most people live far below their potential, not because of a lack of ability, talent, knowledge or opportunities; but because they have not developed the ability to control and convert their thoughts into actions that lead to success.RELATED: RECOMMENDED PLANS FOR YOU
So I want to share 3 steps that my clients use to create a successful mindset
1. What are you willing to give in return?
“You know, the Greeks didn’t write obituaries. They only asked one question after a man died: Did he have passion?”— Dean Kansky, Serendipity
Have you heard the saying, “If you help enough people succeed, you yourself will become successful,” well it’s true!
It’s one principle used by the most successful people in the world. The thing about success is that it is never convenient, that’s why you must be willing to give in order to receive.
One of the best ways to do this is to dedicate yourself to something that gives you passion. That should be the focus, not the rewards.
For most successful people their passion is found in helping others succeed
– Passion fuels confidence: it not only creates value for yourself but for others too. So by leading the way, not showing the way, you will earn the respect and confidence of others.
– Passion creates excitement: which is something that can be shared and creates value. People who are excited generate enthusiasm in the people around them.
– Passion is contagious: it makes those around you feel excited – so everyone wins. Being passionate helps maximize the energy of everyone you come into contact with.
“There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.”— Nelson Mandela
One of the most important things you’ll have to give up is your old way of thinking.
If you want to achieve success in an area of your life, then you’ll have to change what you currently believe about yourself especially if your current belief system is holding you back.
We alone determine and create our own potential
And potential, greatness and success not only starts, but is achieved in the mind. This is the great challenge on our pursuit to accomplishing success – learning how to control our thoughts, eliminating the voices of fear and thinking big.
This requires daily effort, though we literally can accomplish anything if we not only realize the power of our thoughts and then convert those thoughts into the actions that lead to success.
3. Never, never, never give up
“Money was never a big motivation for me, except as a way to keep score. The real excitement is playing the game.” – Donald Trump
It is important to realize that success is not so much something that we do, it’s something we become. Success starts on the inside, in our minds, and then that is reflected on the outside in the world around us.
A successful person will never give up as easily.
Walt Disney! At first, nobody liked his idea, but he did and he continued improving and working on his idea. And the rest is history!
If you know-deep down that what you are doing is making a difference, then it doesn’t matter what others say.
Keep on working at it and be willing to adapt. Lack of money? Then DO something! There’s always a solution, as long as you keep looking for it. There are many celebrities, musicians, writers, singers and actors who had nothing, though believed in themselves enough to persist and ended up ‘conquering the world’!
