Carla is a teaching and research assistant at Arizona State University pursuing a doctorate in physical activity, nutrition, and wellness. She has a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a master’s in kinesiology, along with ACSM certified personal trainer and health and fitness specialist certifications. She currently helps plan childhood obesity and women’s health interventions, specializing in self-regulation of eating
and exercise habits. Carla believes everyone has the right to a healthy future, and that lasting behavior change comes from within.
