If you have a sweet tooth as much as I do you will love my recipe for delicious homemade energy balls. These gluten-free energy balls put pre-packaged snacks to shame.

Made with oatmeal, flax seed and almond butter, they clock in at only 90 calories per piece and are full of fiber. So easy to do and doesn’t require any baking. Does seriously delicious homemade energy balls are my favorite snack. So yummy that it’s hard to only eat a serving!

Cookie dough energy balls

Ingredients:

1 cup of quick oat(gluten-free)

1/2 cup almond butter

1/3 flax seed meal

4 tbsp mini chocolate chip

4-5 scoop vanilla whey protein

4tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut

1/3cup of warm water

stevia to taste

(other optional add: nuts, dry raisins, dry fruits) for variety

Directions:

In a large bowl mix all ingredient together.

Using your hands, roll the mixture into balls. Mine were about 1-1 1/2-inch in diameter.

Place the bites into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
